The purpose of Cyber Scouts is to raise awareness about cybercrime in society on a voluntary basis. Cyber Scouts are trained to identify and combat cybercrime. They understand the risks associated with virtual socializing and work to promote cyber safety in their surroundings. A Cyber Scout plays an important role in creating cyber awareness among fellow students, teachers and parents.
These views were expressed by Cyber Security of Pakistan’s Cyber Expert Muhammad Asad Ul Rehman while speaking to the media on the occasion of International Volunteer Day, giving details about Cyber Scouts. He said that voluntary work in Pakistan started after the creation of Pakistan when the Quaid-e-Azam formed the Scouting organization. In the present era, Pakistan Social Association under the chairmanship of Syed Ammar Hussain Jaffri and E-Pakistan are also working voluntarily in welfare works. The importance given to volunteers in Western society has greatly promoted this spirit. More than half of Pakistan’s population is young people who can play a great role in the development of the country. The need of the hour is that volunteers should also be given importance in Pakistan so that this spirit can be promoted. If the youth of this country start giving their services in different fields voluntarily, then they can play their role in overcoming many problems of the country.
On this occasion, Cyber Scouts Shahroz Ashraf, Humayun Ghani, Hamza Nadeem, Zeeshan Aslam, Tayyab Bhatti, Azhar Malik, Abdul Wahab, Asadullah, Junaid Malik, Muhammad Anis, Nawaal Mehdi, Aaraf Jbeen, Natasha Malik, Fasiha Munir, Saadia Murad, Urooj, Nimra, Hina, Ayesha Razaq, Alina and others expressed their views.
They said that cyber security training in a backward area like Bahawalpur is a welcome step. During the training, in addition to digital security, we also got to learn practically about self-defense, dealing with emergencies and skill development. We are grateful to Cyber Security of Pakistan for training the youth on an important issue like cyber security.
سائبر اسکاؤٹس کا مقصد معاشرے میں رضا کارانہ طور پرسائبر کرائم کے بارے میں شعور اجاگر کرنا ہے۔ سائبر سکاؤٹ کو سائبر جرائم کی نشاندہی کرنے کے لئے تربیت دی جاتی ہے اور اس سے نمٹنے کے لیے تعلیم دی جاتی ہے۔ وہ ورچوئل سوشلائزنگ سے وابستہ خطرات کو سمجھتا ہے اور وہ اپنے آس پاس کے ماحول میں سائبر سیفٹی کو فروغ دینے کے لئے کام کرتا ہے۔ ایک سائبر اسکاؤٹ ساتھی طلباء، اساتذہ اور والدین میں سائبر بیداری پیدا کرنے کے لئے اہم کردار ادا کرتا ہے۔ ان خیالات کا اظہار سائبر سکیورٹی آف پاکستا ن کے سائبر ایکسپرٹ محمداسدالرحمن نے رضا کاروں کے عالمی دن کے موقع پر میڈیا کو سائبر سکاؤٹس کے متعلق تفصیلات بیاں کرتے ہوئے کیا۔انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستا ن میں رضاکارانہ کاروائیوں کا آغاز قیام پاکستان کے بعد اس وقت سے ہی ہو چکا تھا جب قائد اعظم نے سکاؤٹنگ تنظیم تشکیل دی۔موجودہ دور میں بھی سید عمار حسین جعفری کی زیر صدارت پاکستان سوشل ایسوسی ایشن اور ای پاکستان رضا کارانہ طور پر فلاحی کاموں میں کوشاں ہیں۔ مغربی معاشرے میں رضاکاروں کو دی جانے والی اہمیت نے اس جذبے کو بہت فروغ دیا ہے۔ پاکستان کی آدھی سے زیادہ آبادی نوجوانوں پر مشتمل ہے جو کہ ملک کی ترقی میں بہترین کردار ادا کرسکتے ہیں۔ وقت کی ضرورت ہے کہ پاکستان میں بھی رضاکاروں کو اہمیت دی جائے تاکہ اس جذبے کو فروغ دیا جا سکے۔ اگر اس ملک کے نوجوان رضاکارانہ طور پر مختلف شعبوں میں اپنی خدمات دینے لگیں تو ملک کے بہت سے مسائل پر قابو پانے میں اپنا کردار ادا کر سکتے ہیں۔اس موقع پر سائبر سکاؤٹس شہروز اشرف، ہمایوں غنی، حمزہ ندیم،زید اسلم،طیب بھٹی، اظہر ملک، عبدالوہاب، اسداللہ، جنیدملک،، محمد انیس، نوال مہدی، اعراف جبیں، نتاشہ ملک، فصیحہ منیرسعدیہ مراد، عروج، نمرہ، حنا، عائشہ رزاق، علینہ و دیگر نے اظہار خیال کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ بہاول پور جیسے پسماندہ علاقہ میں سائبر سکیورٹی ٹریننگ خوش آئند اقدام ہے۔ٹریننگ کے دوران ڈیجیٹل سکیورٹی کے علاوہ ہمیں سیلف ڈیفنس، ہنگامی صورتحال سے نمٹنے اور سکلز ڈویلپمنٹ کے متعلق بھی عملی طور پر سیکھنے کو ملا۔ہم سائبر سکیورٹی آف پاکستان کے شکر گزار ہیں جنہوں نے سائبر سکیورٹی جیسے اہم مسئلہ پر نوجوانوں کو ٹریننگ دی۔
