Cybercriminals are looting innocent people by making false claims of earning millions with one click and sharing with ten people. On the one hand, people are facing unemployment due to the Corona lockdown, while on the other hand, they are being deprived of their hard-earned money by falling victim to the deception of fraudsters.
These views were expressed by Muhammad Asad Ul Rehman, a cyber expert at Cyber Security of Pakistan, while talking to the media about fake online earning sources. According to the details, the accused not only persuade people to click on fake web links by giving the illusion of earning money through the website, but these accused also obtain sensitive information of the public in this way. Through advertisements, people are given the illusion of earning millions of rupees and their personal information is obtained. Then this sensitive information is used to withdraw money from the accounts of the public.
He said that the public should be wary of such fraudsters and instead of sharing their sensitive information, they should immediately report the fraudster to the relevant authorities so that legal action can be taken against him and innocent citizens can be protected from this fraud.
سائبر مجرم ایک کلک اور دس لوگوں کو شیئر کرنے پر لاکھوں کی کمائی کا جھوٹا دعویٰ کرکے معصوم عوام کو لوٹنے لگے۔کورونا لاک ڈاون کے باعث جہاں عوام بے روزگاری کا شکار ہیں تو دوسری طرف نوسربازوں کے جھانسے میں آ کر اپنی خطیر رقم سے محروم ہو رہے ہیں۔ان خیالات کا اظہار سائبر سکیورٹی آف پاکستان کے سائبر ایکسپرٹ محمداسدالرحمن نے جعلی آن لائن کمائی کے ذرائع کے مطابق میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کیا۔تفصیلات کے مطابق ملزمان ناصرف ویب سائیٹ کے ذریعے لوگوں کو پیسے کمانے کا جھانسہ دے کر جعلی ویب لنک پر کلک کرنے کی طرف مائل کرتے ہیں بلکہ یہ ملزمان اس طرح عوام کی حساس معلومات بھی حاصل کرلیتے۔ اشتہارات کے ذریعے لوگوں کو لاکھوں روپے کمانے کا جھانسہ دے کر ان کی ذاتی معلومات حاصل کی جاتی ہیں پھر اس حساس معلومات کو استعمال میں لاتے ہوئے عوام کے اکاؤنٹس سے پیسے نکال لیے جاتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ عوام ایسے دھوکے بازوں سے ہوشیار رہے اور اپنی حساس معلومات شئیر کرنے کی بجائے فوراً متعلقہ اداروں کو دھوکے باز کے متعلق رپورٹ کرے تا کہ اس کے خلاف قانونی کاروائی عمل میں لاتے ہوئے معصوم شہریوں کو اس دھوکے سے بچایا جا سکے۔
