To control the increasing cybercrimes nationwide, a five-day Cyber Scouts training workshop was conducted by the Cyber Security of Pakistan. The ceremony was graced by a special guest, Deputy Director Ministry of Science and Technology, Shujah ul Hasan, who emphasized the dire need for a nationwide awareness campaign for digital security. He stated that in the current era, the importance of cybersecurity is continuously increasing, expressing hope that these young scouts will prove to be assets for the country in the future.
During the event, Cyber Expert Muhammad Asad Ul Rehman summarized the training, highlighting the need for Cyber Security of Pakistan to organize such workshops to tackle the rising cybercrimes and promote cyber safety. The five-day online training aimed to educate numerous members from various institutions including the police, NAB, Ministry of Defence, education sector, healthcare, banking, students, and others on securing their social media accounts, preventing online data theft, and providing training on cybersecurity.
Cyber Expert Mubashir Sargana mentioned that the widespread availability of the internet in Pakistan has led to a rapid increase in cybercrimes. The purpose of this comprehensive training was to raise awareness among the younger generation about cybersecurity and modern IT, ensuring their future safety. The fundamental objective of the training was also to empower ordinary citizens to use the internet securely to avoid such issues. Additionally, if such problems persist, instead of panicking, a strategy was outlined to deal with these issues through the collaboration of national institutions.
ملک بھر میں بڑھتے ہوئے سائبر جرائم پر قابو پانے کے لیے سائبر سکیورٹی آف پاکستان کی جانب سے پانچ روزہ سائبرسکاؤٹس کی تربیتی ورکشاپ کا انعقاد کیا گیا تھا جس کی تقریب تقسیم اسناد میں مہمانِ خصوصی ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹرمنسٹری آف سائنس و ٹیکنالوجی شجاع الحسن نے کہا کہ ڈیجیٹل سکیورٹی کے لیے ہمیں ملک بھر میں آگاہی مہم چلانے کی اشد ضرورت ہے۔ موجودہ دور میں سائبر سکیورٹی کی ضرورت و اہمیت میں اضافہ ہوتا جارہا ہے۔ امید ہے کہ مستقبل میں یہ نوجوان سکاؤٹس ملک و قوم کا اثاثہ ثابت ہوں گے۔ اس موقع پر سائبرایکسپرٹ محمد اسد الرحمن نے ٹریننگ کا خلاصہ پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ملک میں بڑھتے ہوئے سائبر کرائمز پر قابو پانے اور سائبر سیفٹی کے فروغ کے لیے سائبر سکیورٹی آف پاکستان کی جانب سے پانچ روزہ آن لائن ٹریننگ کا انعقاد کیا گیاتھا جس میں ملک بھر سے پولیس، نیب، منسٹری آف ڈیفینس، ایجوکیشن، ہیلتھ، بینک،طلباء و طالبات اوردیگر اداروں سے اراکین کی کثیر تعداد کو سوشل میڈیا اکاؤنٹس کو محفوظ کرنے،آن لائن ڈیٹا چوری ہونے سے بچانے اور سائبر سکیورٹی کے متعلق تربیت دی گئی تھی۔ اس موقع پر سائبر ایکسپرٹ مبشر سرگانہ نے کہا کہ پاکستان میں انٹرنیٹ کے عام ہونے کی وجہ سے سائبر کرائمز میں تیزی سے اضافہ ہوا ہے۔ رضاکارانہ ٹریننگ کا مقصد نوجوان نسل کوسائبر سیکیورٹی اور جدید آئی ٹی کے حوالے سے آگاہ کرنا اور ان کا مستقبل محفوظ بنانا ہے۔ ٹریننگ کا بنیادی مقصد بھی عام شہریوں کو اس قابل بنانا تھا کہ وہ انٹرنیٹ کا محفوظ طریقے سے استعمال کرسکیں تاکہ ایسے مسائل کی نوبت ہی نہ آئے۔اگر پھر بھی اس طرح کا مسئلہ پیش آتا ہے تو گھبرانے کے بجائے اپنے قومی اداروں کے تعاون سے ان مسائل سے نمٹنے کا طریقہ کار بتایا گیا۔
